Man, my weekday showers suck compared to my weekend or holiday ones...well at least my weekend and holiday ones when I'm not in a hurry. I hate rushed showers, they're so unsatisfying. I mean, I feel clean and all, but I've noticed that after I take a shower on a weekend or when I'm not so rushed, I feel much more relaxed. I guess that means I should wake up earlier...but even then, you still have that "I need to go to work today" or whatever feeling looming over your head so I think it's still not AS satisfactory as when you're just taking a shower to take it. Man, I'm so glad today is pretty much my friday.

Aladdin got screwed
I was kinda, kinda not watching Aladdin with London this morning as I was making my lunch. And I just realized that movie had some weird things about it. First of all, Aladdin stole stuff. Yeah, he fed those two little kids w/ the bread he stole but if he didn't see them, he would've had them for himself. And Abu, always steals like the coins and stuff, so he had to learn that from someone, and that someone is Aladdin. That guy was a thief, sheesh, what message are we sending to our children? He he he. Okay, that was just a little thing. But here's the big thing, Aladdin got screwed by the Genie! Yes, that's right, S-C-R-E-W-E-D!!! So he has 3 wishes, and his first wish is to become a prince. BUUUUT, the genie only makes him to LOOK like a prince, entourrage and all...but he's not a real prince! He didn't even have a kingdom to be prince of! I guess he wasn't so smart afterall, overlooking that small teensy weensy detail and all. What a freak.

Like I mentioned earlier, today is like my Friday, because I'm going to CES(the World Consumer Electronics Show) in Vegas for the rest of the week. Cic is even going w/ me, which is even cooler. And the show, that's not even work, we're just gonna get to check out all the new cool gadgets and gizmos comin out soon. Hell yeah, sometimes, I love my job. He he he.

Boos for the day
This is actually the boo for Monday, but as it is, I haven't blogged in a while, so it shall be the boo of the day...and that is....seniority. So one of the projects I've been working on(I've had to do 2 at the same time because we were pretty shorthanded for a while with everyone on vacation and other things), they had someone else be project lead for it because he has been here longer than me. And I know both systems way more, well because I'd been working on them so long. I also know that to be lead takes more than just knowing the system, it's about leadership capabilities and communication skills and all that. But I think I have those down okay. Anyway, it's cool though, cuz I like the guy and he asks me questions about anything he's unsure about. Yeah, I'm not bitter, he he he.

I have to go back to Jersey for work starting on MLK weekend. That bites...what's more, I come back on the day of my b-day. I wanted to plan something for that day, but I'm kinda skeptic, cuz it'd be sad if I did plan something w/ my friends and they showed up and my flight gets delayed or something...or worse, my plane crashes(knock on wood). But I guess we'll see, I still want to do something that day...decisions decisions....sometimes, I hate work, he he he.

additional resolutions
-dust at least once a week (the house AND my room)
-do laundry at least every other week
-fold laundry right after it's done
-keep my room organized
-study for the EIT(well that starts next week and ends in April, so I guess that's short term, but nonetheless, still a resolution)
